Presentation Instructions

Oral Presentations

Presenters are requested to observe the following points:

1. Each oral presentation will be 20 minutes including questions answers, laptop connection and disconnection; timing will be strictly enforced.
2. Each presenter is asked to bring a laptop computer which has a DB15HD port for connecting to a projector. Presenters should check that their presentation works with the provided equipment before their session starts.
3. If presenters require other equipment, please contact us well in advance.

Poster & Demo Presentations

Presenters are requested to observe the following points:

1. Odd-number posters are presented on Wednesday and even-number posters are presented on Friday. However, all the posters can be kept on display from Wednesday to Friday. Please be sure to remove them by the end of the workshop.
2. The poster sessions will be held over a time period of Coffee Break (30 minutes), Poster Session (80 minutes) and Lunch (60 minutes).
3. A poster board and a half table (two presentations share a table) will be provided to each poster and demo presenter.



4. Electric power supply for small devices such as laptop computers will be provided. If you need larger power, please contact us in advance.
• Japanese power outlets are identical to ungrounded (2-pin) North American outlets. The voltage is 100 Volt, and the frequency of electric current is 60Hz in Western Japan including Nara.
5. Wireless ethernet connectivity will be available at the room of poster & demo. However, since many people share a common backbone, please do not expect high-speed connectivity.
6. If presenters require other equipment, please contact us well in advance.
